It is a great wine of the confidential Pomerol appellation. Dark color: Rich and complex nose, marked by notes of red fruits, as well as undergrowth (truffle). Superb dense and silky substance and a very long finish.

To be tasted with meat dishes in sauces or grilled, game or strong poultry. It also goes very well with truffade.

In 1957, the Dubost family created its vineyard in the heart of Pomerol, the smallest appellation of Bordeaux wines. The sensitivity that this family developed for flowers led them to give this name to their wine, "Lafleur du Roy". This same sensitivity is at the origin of the choice of labels which, each year, display a flower drawn by one of their friends.

The vineyard of Pomerol de Lafleur du Roy covers 3.5 hectares on a sandy-gravelly soil and clay subsoil. The vines have been worked by the family in order to better appropriate the terroir, which can be found at the tasting.
