A subtle and generous white burgundy.

Near Pouilly-Fuissé not far from the famous Roche de Solutré is produced the Saint-Véran. It is a white Burgundy well known to lovers of great Chardonnay.

Pale gold color and crystalline with green reflections. Nose with aromas of fruit and notes of fresh almonds, hazelnut and a touch of butter. Round and racy on the palate with a beautiful minerality on the finish. A good balance between fat and acidity.

To be served with oysters au gratin or a veal fricassee with chanterelles or a traditional veal blanquette. On the cheese side, Saint-Marcellin or goat's cheese.

Tasting of the Sommelier: Pale gold color and crystalline with green reflections. The nose releases fruit aromas (peach, pear) with notes of fresh almonds, hazelnut and a touch of butter. Dry and round on the palate with a very nice minerality on the finish. A good balance between fat and acidity. It is a subtly dry Burgundy with a beautiful generosity.

It goes well with oysters au gratin or veal fricassee with chanterelles but also with the famous blanquette de veau. On the cheese side, Saint-Marcellin or goat's cheeses will be highlighted.

Serve between 11° and 13°.
